Tomorrow night! There's still time to get your ticket for a screening of Make A Circle, an award-winning film about early childhood educators and their work to change how society views them and to create a better system for all. You’re invited to a screening of MAKE A CIRCLE, a powerful new documentary about early childhood educators who are changing how society sees their work—and fighting for a better child care system for all. With summer here and school out, it's the perfect time to register for Ready At Five’s enriching and popular three-session professional development series, "Introduction to the Science of Reading." This engaging and informative series led by Professor Brigid Cook, M.Ed., C.A.S. begins on July 15th and will explore various aspects of early literacy and demonstrate how to incorporate them into everyday practices, helping young children become ready to read and engage their parents in the process. MDAEYC's Public Policy Committee is hosting a series of Advocacy Meetings. You are invited to join us as we get together virtually to learn about policy advocacy, get updates on current policy developments affecting early childhood programs, and connect with colleagues who seek to make a difference for young children and families. We enjoyed seeing so many early childhood educators at the Maryland Early Childhood Conference this Saturday! #earlychildhoodeducator #earlychildhoodteachers #maryland Our partner United Way of Central Maryland is partnering with The Lonely Entrepreneur to offer social entrepreneurs in our network one year of exclusive access to The Lonely Entrepreneur’s online learning community! On Memorial Day, we remember those lost. Today is Provider Appreciation Day. We know the work that we do as providers is important for children, families, and our communities. During Teacher Appreciation Week, we celebrate the important work that early childhood educators do to support joyful learning.
