Over 500 early childhood education professionals joined MDAEYC on May 12 for this wonderful free webinar featuring award-winning author Holly Elissa Bruno. Holly Elissa guided us through a journey of self-care, self-reflection, and discovery. Grounded in theory and experience on trauma and emotionally intelligent leadership, she shared personal experiences of trauma and hope, and information and strategies for self-help, designed to support us all as we continue to serve children and families.
This powerful session helped underscore that even in this time of increased stress and anxiety, we can find strength and hope in ourselves and our community.
If you missed it, here is the video of the webinar.
And here are Holly Elissa’s presentation slides.
And last but not least, if you’d like more of Holly Elissa’s insights, here is Holly Elissa’s forthcoming book, Happiness Is Running Through the Streets to Find You: Translating Trauma’s Harsh Legacy Into Healing.
