Happiness…Even in a Pandemic – Webinar Series

MDAEYC is delighted to host noted author and speaker Holly Elissa Bruno in her four-part series on finding hope and happiness as our lighthouse in this pandemic storm.

We will post resources from the webinar series here for you.

There’s still time to register for Part 4 of the series; go to our Eventbrite page to register.

Part 3: July 29

Starting with Part 3, we changed up the format to an interactive virtual meeting with small group breakout discussion. Holly Elissa provided guidance and personal stories on facing challenging situations and approaching them with your whole self, finding solutions that ring true to ourselves. Participants broke out into small groups of 4 people via Zoom and had the opportunity to share a personal example (if they wanted to) of how they approached a challenging situation.

Video recording is almost ready for posting (as of 10:00 am on 8/4; coming later today, so please check back!)

Part 2: July 22

Holly Elissa shared more insights on how we can find HOPE when facing difficult or traumatic circumstances.

Part 1: May 12

Over 500 early childhood education professionals joined MDAEYC on May 12 for this wonderful free webinar featuring award-winning author Holly Elissa Bruno. Holly Elissa guided us through a journey of self-care, self-reflection, and discovery. Grounded in theory and experience on trauma and emotionally intelligent leadership, she shared personal experiences of trauma and hope, and information and strategies for self-help, designed to support us all as we continue to serve children and families.

This powerful session helped underscore that even in this time of increased stress and anxiety, we can find strength and hope in ourselves and our community.

If you missed it, here is the video of the webinar.

2 Thoughts

  1. I was not able to attend as I had planned to. The day got away from me and when I looked up the workshop was over.
